The 1st Thursday of Every Month Is Feline-Friendly Day At CAMC

We’ve declared every first Thursday of the month Feline Friendly Day! You might be asking yourself, what is Feline Friendly Day?

Simply put, Feline Friendly Day is a day we’ve set aside to not only celebrate cats and all the companionship they bring us, but also to bring attention to the importance of being a feline-friendly practice.

Not all veterinary practices are created equal, and not all animal hospitals are as welcoming to cats as we want them to be.

Regular checkups are vital to the health of your cat, but we know that visiting a veterinarian can be anxiety-inducing for your cats. Treating a terrified cat only enforces their fear of checkups and medical procedures. The last thing we want is to be a source of fear for your cat.

That’s why Dr. Steffen has turned her veterinary medical center into a safe haven for cats.

And as an added bonus on Feline Friendly Days, we offer free feline fecal screenings during exams.

What Makes Companion Animal Medical Centre Feline Friendly?

  • A tabby cat with white spots lounging in the grassOur knowledgeable and understanding staff. We know that sometimes cats aren’t themselves when they’re sick, frightened, or injured. We treat every cat with patience, kindness, and understanding. No rushed appointments or poor treatment because your cat is overwhelmed.
  • Relaxing and comforting atmosphere. We want your cat to feel as comfortable in our animal hospital as they feel at home with you.
  • Sometimes cats and dogs just don’t mix. We’re happy to keep the dogs away while you wait for your appointment if your cat needs a canine-free space.
  • Dr. Gwendolyn Steffen is dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest advances in both traditional and holistic feline medicine, so your cats can always be given the best possible care.
