Even the most routine visit to the veterinarian can be a stressful experience for both pets and their owners.

When you bring your cat or dog to Companion Animal Medical Centre, we want their appointment to go as smoothly as possible so your pet can get the care they need without delay or unneeded stress.

Here’s how you can prepare for your pet’s appointment at our Milford animal hospital to guarantee your pet has an easy and comfortable visit to CAMC.

Arrive On Time For Your Pet’s Appointment

We recommend you arrive early for your pet’s appointment, but if that’s not possible, arriving on time is vitally important for your pet’s appointment.

When you schedule an appointment for your pet, we set aside a dedicated block of time to examine your pet, run tests and diagnostics, prescribe medications and treatments, and address any questions or concerns you have regarding your pet.

When someone arrives late for their pet’s appointment, we have to delay the next scheduled appointment to ensure we have enough time to examine and treat the dog or cat that arrived late. This starts a chain reaction that affects our schedule and our staff for the rest of the day. Correcting a schedule that has been affected by late arrivals can be impossible unless we stay open after our posted hours.

With this in mind, please be mindful and respectful of our staff’s time and the time of all other pet owners who have scheduled appointments by arriving on time for your pet’s appointment.

Please Bring Your Mask

We understand many people are fully vaccinated and may be frustrated with our continued mask requirement.

In the state of Ohio, medical facilities such as Companion Animal Medical Centre must require masks to remain open. This requirement applies even to people who are fully vaccinated.

Masks also help protect our staff and the dogs and cats who visit CAMC for treatment.

If you are uncomfortable with wearing a mask, we have curbside services available and would be happy to have a staff member come outside to bring your pet in for their appointment or deliver any prescriptions or products you need to your car.

Choose The Right Payment Option

Companion Animal Medical Centre offers several payment options so you can choose the option that best fits your needs.

We recommend cash, check, or Zelle, but debit and credit are also available. There is a 2% surcharge for all credit card payments.

We have also partnered with CareCredit to offer financing.
